Returns & refunds

Need to send something back? Start a return from your order.

Changed your mind?

You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you receive it. You don’t need to give a reason. Simply tell us — by email to [email address to be added], or by using the return request option on our order status page — within that 14-day period.

Once you’ve told us, please send the items back within 14 days. We’ll refund the price of the items and the standard delivery charge you paid, within 14 days of receiving the items back (or receiving proof that you’ve returned them, if sooner). Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Condition of returned items

Please return items unworn and unwashed, with any labels attached, as you would expect to receive them yourself. You may handle items as you would in a shop to check them, but if an item has been used beyond that, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.

For hygiene reasons, sealed items (such as earrings, dummies or items in hygiene packaging) can only be returned if the seal is unbroken. Personalised or made-to-order items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Return postage

Unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item, you are responsible for the cost of returning it. We recommend a tracked service, as items are your responsibility until they reach us.

Faulty or incorrect items

If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, your statutory rights apply. You have 30 days from delivery to reject it for a full refund, including the delivery charge and the cost of returning it to us. After that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and in some cases a partial or full refund. Please contact us at [email address to be added] with your order number and a photo of the problem.

Exchanges

If you’d like a different size, the quickest way is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order, so the size you want isn’t sold out in the meantime.

Cancellation form (optional)

You can use this wording, but you don’t have to:

“To Smock & Heirloom LTD, [business address to be added], [email address to be added]: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale of the following goods: [items], ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Order number: [number]. Name: [your name]. Address: [your address]. Date: [date].”

This does not affect your statutory rights.
